Veettumuttam Arogya Class - Courtyard Health Clinic: Awareness Session

As part of the Sasthra Sahithya Parishad Paravoor Regional Annual Conference, an insightful health awareness session titled 'Veettumuttam Arogya Class' (Courtyard Health Clinic) was organised at AKG Road. The event was inaugurated by North Paravoor’s renowned "People’s Doctor," Dr. Manu P. Vishwath.
The session, held at the residence of Mr. Nishad, focused on the rising prevalence of lifestyle diseases. In a simple and engaging manner, Dr. Manu explained the preventive measures necessary to avoid strokes and heart attacks. He emphasised that by regularly monitoring blood pressure, sugar levels, and cholesterol, and strictly following medical advice, individuals can effectively manage and control these conditions.
The program was chaired by P. P. Sukumaran, President of the Kedamangalam Pappukkutty Memorial Library. Several prominent figures addressed the gathering, including former Paravoor Municipal Councillor C. P. Jayan and Parishad officials Adv. A. Gopi, N. Biju, and T. K. Joshi.
The initiative was a collaborative effort between the Help for Helpless (H4H) Kedamangalam Unit, the Kedamangalam Pappukkutty Memorial Library, and the Sasthra Sahithya Parishad Regional Annual Welcome Committee. The event highlighted the importance of community-level health education in building a healthier society.
