
The Help for Helpless (H for H) Educational & Charitable Society successfully organized a Free Skin Disease Diagnosis Camp (Dermatology Camp) at the St. Germain's L.P. School Hall in Paravur. The initiative was designed to provide specialized medical consultation and raise awareness about timely care for dermatological issues.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. B. Deepa, Consultant in the Dermatology Department at Ernakulam General Hospital. In her address, Dr. Deepa stressed the importance of early detection and timely treatment of skin ailments. She advised attendees that by meticulously observing and reporting symptoms related to skin conditions, individuals can often prevent the progression to more serious or chronic diseases.
The event was presided over by the organization's President, Dr. Manu P. Vishwam. The camp saw the active participation of the H for H leadership, with Joseph Padayatti, Secretary, delivering the welcome address.
The camp received institutional support, with Rev. Father Jerry Njaliyath, Vicar of St. Germain's Church, delivering an inspirational message. Dr. K.G. Jayan, Vice President of H for H, also offered felicitations, highlighting the organization's commitment to diverse health services. K.G. Anilkumar, Treasurer, concluded the function by expressing the vote of thanks.
The free camp was widely attended, providing essential specialized care to the local community and reinforcing the need for regular health check-ups.
