Critical Life-Saving Skills Taught at BLS-CPR Training Session in North Paravoor

A comprehensive training session on Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was organised for the staff of the Modern Diagnostic Scanning Centre on December 21, 2025. The program, held at the centre’s conference hall, aimed to equip healthcare professionals and support staff with the essential skills required to manage medical emergencies and cardiac arrests effectively.
The training was conducted by Dr. Manu P. Vishwam, President of the charitable organisation Help for Helpless (H4H). During the session, Dr. Manu provided hands-on instructions on the correct techniques for chest compressions and emergency intervention, emphasising that timely CPR can significantly increase a person's chances of survival during a heart attack or sudden collapse.
The initiative was carried out under the leadership of Manu P. Vishwam, with active participation from key organisational members, including K. G. Anil Kumar and Sudheesh Sundaran. The organisers noted that such training programs are vital in diagnostic and clinical settings, ensuring that staff members are prepared to act as first responders in critical situations. The session concluded with a demonstration of emergency protocols, fostering a culture of safety and preparedness within the scanning centre.
