Life-Saving Training Program Organized by KLCK Kottappuram St. Michael's Cathedral Union
Kottappuram: Under the auspices of the KLCK Kottappuram St. Michael's Cathedral Union, a comprehensive life-saving training program was recently organised at the Kottappuram Parish Hall. The session was tailored for representatives of the union and various associated organisations to equip them with essential emergency response skills. The practical training was led by a specialised team from the North Paravoor-based organisation, Help for Helpless, which included President Dr. Manu P. Vishwam, Treasurer K.G. Anil Kumar, M.G. Maju, and Captain M.K. Shashi.
During the workshop, participants were given hands-on, practical training on how to intervene and save lives during critical emergencies. The training covered vital life-saving techniques for sudden medical collapses, accident-related injuries, and choking incidents when food or objects get lodged in the throat. The event was marked by the active participation of local leadership, ensuring the community is better prepared for medical crises. Notable attendees included Director Rev. Fr. Dominic Pinheiro, President Aneesh Raphael Palliyil, Secretary Stella Francis, and various other office bearers and community representatives.
