H for H's life-saving training for students as part of World Heart Day observance

Help for Helpless (H4H), in association with the Gothuruth Family Health Centre (FHC), organised a Basic Life Support (BLS) training programme for students of Chendamangalam Government High School.

The session aimed to equip students with essential life-saving skills, including CPR and emergency first aid. The training was led by C.S. Jayadevan, with active participation from H4H Secretary Joseph Padayatti, Treasurer K.G. Anilkumar, and Captain M.K. Shashi. The team guided students through practical demonstrations and hands-on exercises.

School authorities appreciated the initiative, noting that such training empowers young learners to respond confidently during medical emergencies. Organisers expressed hope that similar programmes would continue to raise awareness and preparedness in the community.
