Diabetes Screening Camp and Awareness Class at Kedamangalam

A Diabetes Screening Camp and Awareness Class was successfully organized on Sunday, November 16, at the Kedamangalam Government Lower Primary School.

The event was a collaborative effort, held under the joint auspices of Help for Helpless (H for H), the Kedamangalam Pappukutty Memorial Library, and Kedamangalam Town Residents Association (KTRA).

The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. A. Anitha, President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) Paravur Regional Chapter. The initiative was aimed at providing free health screenings and educating the community about the risks and management of diabetes.

Speeches were delivered by Dr. Manu P. Vishwam (President of H for H), Joseph Padayatti (Secretary), Dr. K.G. Jayan, C.S. Jayadevan, Sudheesh Thoppil, P.P. Sukumaran (Library President), and V.S. Anil (Library Secretary).

The camp was led by Reena Venugopal (Vanitha Vedi Secretary), Rani R.L. (KTRA Secretary), Linsa Mujeeb, Jaya Shyam, and Anamika V.S., among others.
