Cancer Awareness Class Organized by H for H in Thathappilly

The Help for Helpless (H for H) Thathappilly Unit successfully conducted a significant Cancer Awareness Class at the Thathappilly Government High School. The event was aimed at demystifying cancer and promoting proactive health management among the community members.

The key resource person for the class was Dr. Shinto Rajappan, a distinguished Cancer Specialist from Ernakulam General Hospital. Dr. Shinto Rajappan delivered a comprehensive session on various aspects of cancer. During his address, he emphasized that while vigilance is crucial, cancer should not be viewed with excessive fear. Instead, the focus must be on attention, care, and timely medical intervention.

The awareness program was formally inaugurated by Dr. Manu P. Vishwam, President of the H for H organization. The session was presided over by Sulaikha Aneesh, the President of the Thathappilly Unit, highlighting the robust leadership within the local chapter.

A host of dignitaries offered their felicitations, reinforcing the importance of such community health initiatives. The speakers included Dr. K. G. Jayan (Vice President of H for H), Joseph Padayatti (Secretary of H for H), and P. S. Sasi (President of the Sreenarayana Vayanasala).

The event's successful execution was ensured by the dedicated efforts of the unit's leadership team. Shirly Sadanandan, Unit Secretary, delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the informative session. K.G. Anilkumar, the organisation's Treasurer, concluded the function by expressing the vote of thanks.
